Feb 3rd: The hamsters and Flemish Giant bunnies have arrived! All are young, ranging from 3-12 months old. All females but one, and all beautiful shades of gray but one. Check out these BIG beautiful rabbits!  Jan 30th: What an incredible day!!! Freckles went to her new home, we got a new volunteer, and we made over $1,000 in our huge yard sale! We are all beyond exhausted, but we have some happy volunteers and happy bunnies. :) THANK YOU to everyone who helped with sorting, pricing, setting up, working the sale, picking up... and of course everyone who donated items or collected items for us. You are all incredible!!! Jan 24th: Congratulations to Daisy (2) and Biscuit on going to their new homes today! Also a big thanks to all the volunteers and 4-Hers that came to brush those molting bunnies and clean the cages. Don't forget - yard sale this weekend, LSU Vet School the next! Jan 18th: Saturday's pricing day & pre-sale was a success! We sold over $100 of items just to the volunteers and a few neighbors. Also that day Ichigo got picked for a new home, and ratties Diego, Remy, and Splinter went to their new home. A great day altogether! Jan 10th: Today was probably the coldest Care Day ever, but that didn't stop the bunnies from having a binky-fest! We made a fire to dry our hands from the hose and keep our toes toasty (as they could get), and rotated between the bunnies, the cage-cleaning, and the fire bowl! We got to welcome our newest adoptable Daisy, and met a new bunny friend named Palome. Jan 1st: MHRR is off to a great 2010 with an adoption today! Congratulations to Luna on her new home. We have several more chomping at the bits to come in, so let's hope for some more adoptions quickly! The 225 blog on bunnies is out!
